As the CEO of Perenco and gas company,2013 was another successful year for Perenco.  We were able to maintain our record production profile, exiting the year with gross production of 385 000 boepd. 

This was in part due to the contribution from our recent acquisitions, such as the Southern Gas Assets in the uS and following our country entry into Vietnam.
 
The success we enjoyed was also due to a very active year with our ongoing development programs.  There are many examples from across our portfolio. Highlights include the Dissoni field, in Cameroon, where production began, and the delivering of the first commercial gas in the country's history, on time, from the Sanaga project. 

In Peru, we can be extremely pleased with what was achieved with first oil produced from Block 67 in November: this milestone marks the first new producing field in Peru's Amazon Basin for thirty years.  
 
Whilst our recent deals are already yielding positive results, we will continue to identify opportunities.  To this end, the purchase of new assets in Columbia was signed in September 2013 and is expected to close in early 2014.
 
You will be able to read about each of our areas of operations in further detail.  You will also learn more about our varied and far reaching community programs, of which I am particularly proud, as we continue to make a positive contribution to our host communities.
 
Looking ahead, we have another active program right across the portfolio and as such, we remain confident of continuing to develop and grow our business throughout 2014.
